Vattenfall Eldistribution AB is Vattenfall's electricity distribution business and one of Sweden's largest electricity network companies. Your Areas of Responsibility as a Program Engineer
Our investment portfolio consists of approximately 3,000 active projects, all contributing to electrifying Sweden. These projects are divided into 12 investment programs of varying sizes. Each investment program is led by a responsible program manager, who has a number of support resources at their disposal. As a program engineer, you will work as one of these support resources.
As a program engineer, you will work closely with the program manager and contribute to structure and clarity in the program's operations and investments. The role involves many points of contact and a central position in the organization.
One day may involve following up on specific projects, while the next may involve developing reporting structures or preparing materials for steering group meetings. In other words, you will have a varied and broad role where you have the opportunity to develop.
Main tasks as a program engineer:
- Provide administrative support to the program manager, such as scheduling meetings & taking notes during meetings
- Prepare presentations, meetings, and other reporting materials
- Overall follow-up of the program
- Project support regarding finance & time and resource planning
- Document management & access issues
- Data compilation
- Risk management within the investment program
- Operational and program development
The content of the work may vary according to the needs of each program.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who thrives in a role with many points of contact and who feels comfortable sometimes trying new ways of working and stepping outside their comfort zone. You are positive, solution-oriented, and enjoy working with others. You manage yourself well and take responsibility for your tasks and deliveries.
To succeed in the role, you need to:
- Have a university or college education of at least 180 credits (120 points), preferably with a focus on technology, economics, civil engineering, or urban planning. Alternatively, equivalent experience.
- Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Have a driver's license for passenger cars
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience in business areas related to energy or the community sector, from the client or supplier side
- Competence in the Microsoft Office suite
